The outdoor street harassment exhibition brings personal stories and knowledge together in a powerful, physical experience. By putting people’s real experiences at the center, we make visible what often remains invisible. The combination of storytelling and knowledge-sharing creates recognition, awareness, and space for conversation. Because you can walk beneath the exhibition yourself, there’s a dynamic element, so visitors don’t just look, but are actively drawn into the story.
How it works & setup
The outdoor exhibition is placed in public space, right where street harassment happens. Visitors literally walk beneath the installation, becoming part of the exhibition themselves. The exhibition consists of 10 fences and 18 panels with posters and is custom-made for your city. We draw on reports from the municipality, interviews with residents, personal stories, and key knowledge on the topic. The exhibition’s design leaves room to tailor it to local municipal policy. Project management and insurance are included; permit fees from the municipality are not.
Impact on the surroundings
The power of this exhibition lies in its location: right in the space where it happens, a different perspective emerges. It invites people to see the street, each other, and their own role as a bystander differently.
