The activation cart is a mobile, playful intervention tool that makes it easy to start conversations with young people and passersby about sexual (street) harassment, whether on the street or at events. Its cheerful, approachable look invites spontaneous interaction around topics that are normally difficult to talk about.
Where the conversation begins
Municipalities often run into the problem that they reach their target audiences quantitatively, through campaigns, social media, and numbers, but the qualitative conversation lags behind. The activation cart offers a concrete solution to this: by making contact in a playful, non-threatening way, room is created for genuine dialogue. Through peer-to-peer coaching, we can make heavy or sensitive topics feel light, safe, and accessible. The cart breaks down distance, lowers barriers, and ensures people aren’t just reached, but genuinely feel invited to share their story.
Who, what, where, when?
The activation cart can be deployed on location at your event of choice. We always help think through which spot will deliver the best results. During the activation, a project lead and two peer-to-peer coaches are present to keep the interaction running smoothly. They are not only experts by experience, but also trained in how best to approach these conversations. The duration of the activation is flexible and can be tailored to your event’s needs in consultation with us.
