Training on (sexually) transgressive behavior

This interactive training provides the necessary insights and practical tools to effectively recognize and address street harassment. Whether you’re a law enforcement officer (boa), hospitality business owner, or staff member. By zooming in on social norms and power dynamics, you’ll learn how your response can make a difference in creating a safe environment. Our training program alternates between film clips, quiz questions, lectures, assignments, and dialogues between participants and speakers, so it’s rarely boring. Driven by enthusiasm, we seek connection with everyone in an informal way.

Your role makes a difference
What seems ‘innocent’ to one person can feel threatening to another. How you look, respond, or choose not to intervene matters. As a professional, colleague, or bystander, you have influence over what is and isn’t considered normal. Addressing street harassment starts with understanding where it comes from. It’s not an isolated incident, but a societal problem linked to norms, behavior, and power dynamics. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn:

Through practical exercises, relatable situations, and open conversation, we create space to practice. No blame or shame, just awareness, knowledge, and practical tools. You’ll go home with the insights and skills to actually intervene and make a difference.

Whether you work in enforcement, hospitality, education, or policy: your role is essential in breaking the cycle of street harassment. This training can be tailored to your specific audience (think of enforcement officers (boa’s), hospitality staff, policy officers, etc.)

Practical:
Who: The training is given by two experts, including someone with lived experience in the field of street harassment and social safety.
Where: On location. Standard duration: 2 hours (customization possible for, among others, enforcement officers (BOAs), police, hospitality, or events).
